Can I alter the plug on my Rointe product?
How do I clean my Rointe radiator?
No modifications can be made to any part of a Rointe
heating product unless authorised by Rointe. This includes
altering or cutting the plug unless a qualified electrician
needs to hard wire your product. Your guarantee will be
invalid if the product has been manipulated, modified
and/or repaired in any way by unqualified persons.
We recommend that all parts are kept clean (behind,
underneath, along the fins), by using a damp cloth and
pH-neutral soap. Only clean the control panel with a dry
cloth. Do not use any abrasive material or chemicals on
the product and switch the product off before cleaning.
Do Rointe radiators have low surface temperatures?
Can I install a radiator behind furniture?
Yes, but only once the steady working rate has been
achieved, which is then distributed evenly throughout the
product surface.
Rointe recommends leaving a space of at least 50 cm
free of furniture and belongings around your radiators to
facilitate natural air convection. Rointe radiators should
also be installed at least 10 cm from the floor.

What do you mean by DHW?
What's the difference between vented and unvented?
Domestic hot water or DHW is the term coined for heated
water intended for human use. The most common are
baths, showers or sinks but it’s also used for cleaning
and household appliances like washing machines and
dishwashers.
Unvented water heaters heat water directly from the
mains water supply. This means they benefit from higher
pressure/flow rates and more balanced hot/cold water
supplies and can be installed practically anywhere.
They’re the ideal water heating system for properties
with multiple outlets, like kitchens and bathrooms. Rointe
Rome, Siena & Geneva are all unvented models.

depending on the number of users and type of use, it's
best for you to contact us to determine what size water
heater you need.

Vented water heaters are generally installed over the sink
area. They have an open outlet, so rely on a tap or valve
opening on the inlet side to displace the hot water stored
in the heater.
